Addressing attendees during the Press Conference, Katara Deputy General Manager, Ahmad al Sayed delivered a speech on behalf of Katara General Manger HE Dr. Khlaid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti: "Katara seeks to implement various systems and technical specifications regarding various services application, that particularly related to database integrity and information technology services, intellectual property and privacy protection in a bid to achieve maximum efficiency and transparency."
Al Sayed pointed out that Katara has implemented ISO 27001 as an international standard for information security management, which provides a framework that ensures commercial, contractual and legal responsibilities, and gives instant features to preserve Katara's reputation in terms of the quality of services."
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO and Director of wall street Consultancy extended his congratulations for the Cultural village for grabbing the valuable certificate as it significantly contributes at safeguarding the information system. He said: "ISO 27001 Information Security and data protection brings supreme importance to data for organisations globally. Business who are safeguarding both their client and company data against potential threats."
For his part, Jason Periera, Director of InterTech Co in Qatar said: "The award is mainly centred on information management system and security management. It is really valuable to grab security management certificate as we have lots of cyber-crimes. I exude hope that IT department in katara achieve further development and progress."
It's noteworthy that Cultural Village Katara has already received the certificate of conformity of quality specifications ISO 9001 version 2008 within cultural affairs scope form the company «Ms Certification», one of the internationally recognized companies in the field of application of global and financial quality management standards.
