Qatari Calligrapher to Script the Holy Quran

The Cultural Village Foundation- Katara revealed an upcoming project entitled: “The writing of the Holy Quran by a Qatari Calligrapher” during a press conference that was held on Wednesday at Katara’s Amphitheater;

in the presence of the General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara, HE Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti centering prominent media representatives.

Addressing attendees during the press conference, HE Dr. Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti announced: "This project counts as a noble initiative that attains massive chunks of skill, creativity, and accuracy. The Holy Quran will entail sophisticated typescripts artistically written on handmade paper containing the use of Islamic art calligraphy and fascinating use of colors. Predominantly, this is the first time a Qatari calligrapher will script the Holy Quran."

"It is promised that the Qatari calligrapher will deliver exceptional, brilliant and elegant forms of script, with the supervision of the assigned committee along with various institutes." Katara's GM added.

Katara's Chief concluded, by saying: "The committee will announce the name of the chosen and trustworthy Qatari calligrapher through local media channels in the near future. In addition, Qatar TV will document the project once it kicks off and will also be present throughout the duration of this honorable initiative by Katara."
