The exhibition that includes a collection of paintings presented by the students of preparatory school aged between 12 to 15 years old, was inaugurated by the Deputy Director for operation affairs at Katara. In addition to abstract paintings, the students' collection of paintings depicts various topics related to nature and other topics that have been painted by using knives and painting paste.
Deputy Director for operation affairs at Katara said: "Katara is keen to nurture talents and encourage emerging generation for more creativity. The cultural Village left no stone unturned to embrace all students' talents in a bid to pave the way for constructive interaction with the public in future."
Soha Eid, a teacher at Ibn al Arqam School, who also is in charge of the exhibition said: "This exhibition is an illustration of the students' creativity outside their schools. Organizing similar event is aligned to the mission and vision of our school to hone of its talented students."
She pointed out that similar initiative will positively contribute at making them more confident to showcase their creative work.
